Been a while. I know. XP I just don't really have much to post about. Lol, I'm more of a read-others-ljs-type. So yeah. But I just had to post about cliffhangers, particularly cliffhangers of a certain show (TRUE BLOOD) that are insane. Especially this weeks.

Hay Peeps! Sorry for the lack of updates. o_o ~~I'm lazy.~~ Dunno how that happened!

It's actually going to be hot today. The weather has been pretty nice lately, but this week has a small heat wave in it. Woo! I just hope it's beautiful weather for Memorial Day next Monday 'cause I'm going to throw a dinner party thing! :D I have some new recipes I wanna try out on my friends (muwaha). I love the FoodNetwork, but more specifically Giada At Home. Looooove her recipes! 99% of everything she makes I would make it myself and eat it. Yuuuumm. So I was particularly inspired over the weekend after watching a couple of episodes.

Not too much else going on.

Star Trek = awesomest movie and Wolverine Origins was okay. My brother and I were loling a lot. XD
Also, SEASON FINALE OF THE OFFICE WAS SO AWESOMELY AWESOME!!

Spring! Finally!

I don't mean to jinx where I live, but I believe the spring weather is FINALLY here and here to stay until summer.
Wooo woooooo!
I am absolutely loving the 60 degree weather we're having all week. 70 is pretty much the perfect temp, so the closeer we get the that, the happier I am! :D

I have to give a shout out to mah boys, Manchester United, gearing up to play the second-leg against Porto in about an hour or so. GO GO GOOOOO!

Why aren't their any beaches in the Midwest? It makes me cry.
I was just outta town the past weekend for work and had some down time to go out and play in the water and in the sand on a beach nearby (was in Cozumel) and it was AH MAZ ING.

Here, ya gotta love the tornados, snow, and all.

... *sigh*

Just tried a new lotion from Arbonne and I can't stop smelling my hands. Lol, I'm sure people walking by my office are going: o_o;

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! YES! We beat Mexico again. Thank you Michael Bradley. :D I actually got to be there IN PERSON. OMG sooooo amazing seeing our boys in the flesh. TIM HOWARD I LOVE YOU. It was my first USMNT match live. I was standing, singing, yelling IN SAM'S ARMY. It was fantastic.

Getting beat down by torrential rain, wind and hail, however, was not so fantastic. x_________x I have never been that soaked and cold in my whole life. LOL, oh well, we made it through and our boys won. woot woot!

I am currently visiting mah brotha. It is some fun times. The trip back to Iowa from Columbus, Ohio was.. well, lets just say not the best way to get home. Got in an accident (nothing super serious and we're all okay), got stranded in Richmond, Indiana for a whole frickin' day, and had to spend 5 hours at the smallest mall I have ever been in in my whole life waiting for a friend to come from Iowa to get us. Lets just say I am happy to be back at my bro's apartment. sheesh. x_x

X-Men and Dragonball - How I Loved Thee

Why, Hollywood, WHY?

I know that the Dragonball movie is already f'ed (WHY IS PICCOLO NOT GREEN. WTF.). I... cannot even begin with this right now. LOL, wow.
I am still clinging to hope that the Wolverine Origins movie will not suck horrendously. (Gambit I luv youuu. ;_;)

I ADORE the X-Men. I grew up reading all of the comics about a billion times. Rogue was and is my absolute favorite. She was already butchered in the dumb X-Men movies that came out. (ugh ugh uuuuuugghhhhh. and don't get me started on Magneto.) Okay, well, my next favorite characters are Wolvie and Gambit. Hugh Jackman isn't so bad. And it looks like they've beefed him up even more, so I'm not sad at all with this. Thank you, Hugh. I am just sooo so worried about Gambit. The actor who is playing him, Taylor Kitsch, looks great for the part (except for the AWESOMELY BAD PURPLE SHIRT. another ugh.), but I think it will all come down to the accent. Gambit is cajun. omg. I am so worried.

So we'll see.

I was just reading some new updates on everything and felt the need to post. I find myself cringing a lot more lately.

TWILIGHT - MORE LIKE TWISUCK

ugh.

ugh ugh ugh.

But also many many LAWLZ. Sooooo many lawlz.

Oh and a horrible, disgusting soundtrack.

That all pretty much sums up the Twilight movie. heh. No joke.
I was one of millions who went to the midnight premier last night with a bunch of friends, most of who were much more obsessed with the series and characters than I. I'm not even obsessed. Mostly morbidly curious at it all.

To give you some background, yes I have read the books. Well the first three at least (the first book twice), I could not make myself read the fourth. I got up through a couple of chapters then when Bella discovers she's ***SPOILER SORRY IF YOU'RE ONE OF 5 PEOPLE WHO HAVEN'T READ IT *** pregnant, I said "I"M DONE". I do know all of what happens in the fourth book, however. *cringe* I helped with the final book release at a release party, I have lots of friends who are obsessed, and I've read more than my fair share of all of the media hype/interviews/fan stuff going on.

I am knowledgeable.

(to go a little off topic for a second, everyone MUST go read Cleolinda's comments/reviews of the series. It is freakin' HIL AR IOUS. omg I could not stop laughing. Here is a link for the first book. Go! Go now!)

So back to the premier. We were all very excited, but I went into the movie expecting to laugh a bit and poke fun (my friends don't mind XD). But boy was I not prepared for just how awesomely bad it really was. I was laughing almost the entire movie. Along with my obsessed friends. Wowza. I don't really consider my $8.50 to be wasted, I did have a lot of fun and laughed a whole bunch. I do have to say I pretty much cringed just as equally.

All of their pretty faces could not save their bad, bad acting. hahahaha. I think the funniest thing is that they were pretty close to the book with reactions and words (for the most part), but I don't think the book was meant to be made into a movie and spoken aloud. That's where everything went horribly wrong. (If they made this into a silent movie, it would probably be little better. The dialoge was half the bad-ness. XD)

And don't get me started on the soundtrack. ICK. omg. x_______x The soundtrack alone makes me want to kill myself. It is beyond bad. Usually the music is what I love the most about a movie and how it really heightens the experience. Not this one! Just made it worse. x_x

Okay, so I could of course go on and on. Overall, bad, but so funny. I feel, however, that you really have to have read the books to understand how bad the movie really is and be able to laugh the whole way. I have no idea what people will think of this movie going into it without really knowing anything or without reading the books.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Oh Twilight.

Oh! And the two shining (besides Edward's skin, HA) moments: first, saw a brand spankin' new HARRY POTTER TRAILER YAAAAAAAYAYAYAYAYAY! awesome.
and second, Charlie was the best character in the movie. Go Charlie!  Team Charlie! heh, lolz.

Heh, sorry. I am mostly an lj lurker/comment-on-other-journals.
But, lj, you have inspired me to post here. Because the Halloween layout rocks hardcore. SO awesome! :D hahahaha
Zombies are my favorite "horror", uh, things. I like them above all. Thus I saw Quarentine and it rocked. Of course. I was not disappointed. It's fun and scared me and I screamed in the theatre. muwaha.

This weekend was fun.
Especially so because we BEAT LA 2 - NIL.
BWAUHAHAHAHAHA

I love you Wizards. XD

It was amazing. Landycakes was carded for trying to play footie with his hands and he was called on diving. We were all on cloud 9. Even more so when the score went up two goals in our favor, one of the goals being an AMAZINGLY FANTASTIC 35 YARD ROCKET by Davy. OMG, go watch the highlights for his goal. It is awesome!

I also pretty much lost my voice. Lol. Yelling all those uh.. nice things.. to the LA players. XD;;; hee hee hee

We play Toronto next week. I won't have my brother there with me, so we'll see what happens! >.<

Manchester United lost to Liverpool 2-1. ugh.
But, I mean, we had to let them win once in league play, right? Just to be nice. XP

My teams both can't win on the same day. Manchester United and KC Wizards both played Saturday. Usually Man U plays first (because of time difference) and depending on their result, I can guess KC's. x_x It sucks, but that's what happend Saturday. Man U lost, KC won. We'll see how the rest of the season turns out.

I'm excited for this weeked. Long weekend in KC, just me and the hubby (house sitting for some family). So ya, relaxin' and hangin' out. :D

soooooooo mah hubby got me the first season of The Tudors and I love it! :3 It's SO fun. I am a big period-piece fangirly, so really anything like this I tend to like. Heh. Lots of great actors. Lots of hotties, too. One of my most favorite actors, lol, is Sam Neil and he's in it. XD XDDDD Yay! Can't get any better! And the chicky who plays Anne Boelyn is gorgeous! Wow, you must watch.

Lots of nekked and boobies though, so be warned. o.o;; Well, okay, not lots, lots, but not an episode goes by without some sex. Lawl, I guess that's what I mean. Good series.

He also rented the movie called Chaos Theory, with Ryan Reynolds (HAWT HAWTTIE). It was good; cute. :) I do recommend it.

The weather is starting to turn fall-ish (70's high, 50's low) I am looooooving it! I love the fall and spring weather. Fall is definitely my favorite season. :D I like layers of clothing and I hate sweating. x_x blah. I know I sound like a total girl when I say that, which I am, but I really do hate sweating. Unless I'm working out, then I like to sweat. Heh, but when I'm not, I hate it. x______x ick. So fall is the perfect time! Perfect temperatures! Plus Halloween is coming soon, and it's a fun holiday. :D

Manchester United just won 1 - nil to Pompey.
I was a teeny bit worried, since we usually have trouble with them, but 3 points is nice. :D Good job lads!

Much to my brother's dismay, Tottenham seems to be all aboard the fail boat and setting sail at the moment. Eck. Lets go Spurs! Kick it in the ass! x_x Not get your ass kicked!

Kansas City pulled out a 1 - 1 draw against Dallas on Saturday. Jimmy came out in second half stoppage to give us a goal. Phew! Thank you (AGAIN) Jimmy! Keep the goals a'comin'. (Why is one of our defenders one of our highest scorers? lawl)

I saw The Dark Knight, again (fourth time! woo!), with the folks on Saturday. It was their first time seeing it. MY MOM CRIED. A LOT. *gigglesnort* This only confirms that The Dark Knight is truly as epic as I originally thought. Saw it in the IMAX, of course. I am so spoiled by that now. I can't watch movies in anything else. Heh..

Anyone else SERIOUSLY UPSET that we can't watch new Harry Potter until NEXT FRICKIN' YEAR?
